Creating and editing articles
Create and improve Dbljump articles, one useful contribution at a time.
Dbljump articles bring together researched text, citations, structured data, credits, and images to document games and their creators. You can contribute to any of these parts – from correcting a release date to adding a sourced passage of text. You don’t need to complete every section to make a useful improvement.
What’s in a Dbljump article?
Section titled “What’s in a Dbljump article?”The Editor organizes article information into tabs. The available tabs and fields depend on whether you’re editing a game, company, or person article.
- Overview contains the article’s title, summary, and information specific to its subject.
- Releases (game articles) brings together release information and regional titles for games.
- Images shows the images linked to the article and lets you upload more.
- Credits catalogs the companies and people involved in creating and releasing games.
- Text handles researched article writing and its citations.
The task guides below explain how to work with these and other parts of an article.
Saving, article status, and corrections
Section titled “Saving, article status, and corrections”- Saved edits are immediately public. Check your work and sources before saving. Article edits do not normally wait for review.
- Draft articles are public too. New articles start with draft status. Published articles appear more prominently on Dbljump. To request published status, email support@dbljump.com. An administrator will review the article and discuss any changes needed. Peer-review features are still being developed.
- If you make a mistake, check the evidence and make a focused correction. If you’re unsure how to correct it, contact support@dbljump.com with the article link and a description of the change.
