How to become an editor
Dbljump editors document video game history through research, writing, structured data such as credits, and images. Here’s how to become one.
Sign up and tell us about your interests
Section titled “Sign up and tell us about your interests”Create a free Dbljump account on our registration page. You’ll choose a username and password, then answer a short question: “Why do you want to join Dbljump?”
Tell us in a few words about your interest in game history and what you’d like to contribute.
Why do we ask? Your answer helps us prevent automated registrations and understand what brings you to Dbljump.
How registration review works
Section titled “How registration review works”After you sign up, a Dbljump administrator will review your answer and decide whether to approve your editor access. We welcome people who show a genuine interest in game history and give a thoughtful answer. You don’t need to be an expert – this isn’t an exam.
We aim to review your registration within seven days. You’ll receive an email letting you know whether your request has been approved.
After you’re approved
Section titled “After you’re approved”We’ll email you with suggested first steps. A good place to begin is your first contribution: one small, sourced improvement to an article.
